Marine Conservation and Resource Sustainability

Career Opportunities

As a graduate you can look forward to exciting professional, scientific and technical positions in wild fisheries, aquaculture and marine research. Management positions in coastal and marine tourism, fisheries, aquaculture, government policy development and marine parks.

The National Centre for Marine Conservation and Resource Sustainability (NCMCRS)

The NCMCRS is responsible for delivering the Bachelor of Applied Science (Marine Environment) degree. It is one of three National Centres in the Australian Maritime College (AMC) – an institute of the University of Tasmania. AMC is Australia’s highly regarded national provider of specialist education to maritime and maritime-related industries.
